I was lucky enough to receive the beautiful gift book by the naturalist painter Japanese Koson, published by Hippocampus. I recommend it to everyone. Reproductions of prints-both of painting on silk-are large and very beautiful, the critical profile is a bit 'for professionals lavori.Chi not familiar with Japanese art will have to make some personal insights to understand all of the influences and the schools mentioned ... but well worth the effort!
